Festival Grand Marshalls, North Bend residents Chris and Marty Fagan recently made a history-making journey from the edge of Antarctica to the South Pole.
To get there, they each hauled 220 pound sleds filled with food and equipment, averaging 9 hours a day for 48 days over a distance of 570 miles.
During their seven weeks on the ice they endured harsh weather and terrain while experiencing intense physical and mental challenges. They became the first American married couple to complete this amazing feat

Featured Main Stage Performer, Austin Jenckes is a 25 year old believer in the universal language of music that spills his heart into every word. With lyrical roots in country and folk, and an unmistakably unique vocal style, Austin Jenckes is by definition a singer/songwriter. He has spent the better half of a decade paving his own way; starting with small local followings in sleepy coastal towns around the pacific northwest. In January of 2012, he moved from Washington State to Nashville, Tennessee where he recorded an independently released EP titled “An American Story”.
